Impressive Results at Knutsford Golf Club Pro-Am 2021

The highly anticipated PGA Pro-Am competition took place at The Knutsford Golf Club on Sunday 22^nd of August as the club welcomed a fantastic turnout of teams. Groups of three amateurs and one PGA professional set out to secure prizes in the team and professional categories on the superbly presented course.

In the Pro-Am Professional Contest Phillip Archer, of Poulton Park Golf Club triumphed with an incredible 61 (-9) result. Second place was awarded to Ian Ridgway, professional at Disley Golf Club scoring 67 (-3), and joint third with 69 (-1) to Jason Dransfield, Lewis Johnson, Adam Powell and Matthew Tottney.

In the team competition, the Presidents Team took victory with 125 (-15). Congratulations to Professional Lewis Johnson, and Amateurs Knutsford Golf Club President, David Wilkinson; his son, Simon Wilkinson; and past captain, David Kelly.

In second place, C & HRS Ltd. with 127 (-13) comprising Professional Ian Ridgway and Amateurs Nigel Jenkins, Ian Gray and Kurt Nielson.

Third place was awarded to 3DI, scoring 128 (-12) winning on a back 9 playoff, with Professional Jason Dransfield and Amateurs Dexter Dyer, Dylan Dyer and Chris Sutton.

All players enjoyed a fantastic summer buffet and hospitality provided by the Clubhouse Manager Steve Barker, and relished the opportunity to play alongside some of Cheshire and the North West’s best Professional Golfers.
