Knutsford Golf Club is a signatory to the R&A Women in Golf Charter. We fully support the stated aims of the Charter which are to:

* Get more women and girls playing golf and joining clubs
* Inspire more families to enjoy golf as a leisure activity
* Encourage more opportunities for women to work in golf

We have a very strong women's golf section accounting for close to 30% of the overall full category membership - far higher than the national average.

For those looking for competitive golf, we have an A-team, B-team and Plate team competing in various Cheshire leagues.

For those that prefer the more social side of golf, we provide casual 9 or 18-hole roll-ups including our Tuesday nine-and-wine format and our mixed format Friday Golf and Social.

Our friendly women's section is going from strength to strength, supported by Tim Maxwell (our professional) and his Get into Golf (GiG) initiative with 30+ women each year learning on the range through winter before moving to our golf course each spring via a low cost and structured pathway into golf.
